Probation Office
Partnership
When your probation office chooses to partner with Simple Community Service (SCS), you are not just collaborating with an organization - you are joining a mission. Our no-cost program aims to ensure that court-ordered community service is both ethical and beneficial for all parties involved. Here's how your agency can benefit from this partnership:

Comprehensive Nonprofit Evaluation: Does your agency operate based on an "approved nonprofit" list? SCS's dedicated Compliance Managers will conduct meticulous site-visit evaluations of each nonprofit organization on your list, providing you with detailed reports on their suitability for community service placements. This feature is currently available only in Georgia, Florida, Alabama Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Access to Nonprofit Database: If your agency allows probationers to work with any 501(c)3, you'll gain exclusive access to our database of Nonprofits that work with community service volunteers, each verified that they work with court-appointed community service. This expansive resource can save your agency time and ensure quality placements for probationers. Note: This is a work in progress.

Detailed Reports of Volunteer Opportunities: SCS creates comprehensive reports that "mirror" your list of approved nonprofits, detailing the various volunteer available opportunities. These easy-to-understand PDF reports are readily available to probationers on our website, making the selection process simpler and more efficient.

Ethics Training for Nonprofits: To further ensure the integrity and quality of community service, SCS offers a court-appointed community service ethics workshop specifically designed for nonprofits that work with probationers. This training emphasizes ethical decision-making and best practices, further fortifying the commitment to ethical community service.

Ethics Training for Probationers: Recognizing that ethical conduct is fundamental to a successful community service experience, SCS offers a one-hour online ethics workshop for probationers. This workshop provides valuable guidance on finding the right nonprofit, appropriate volunteer conduct, understanding and applying ethical principles, and dealing with any challenges or concerns. Completion of this workshop, if allowed, also earns probationers one hour of community service credit.

Regular Updates: We believe in the importance of current and accurate information. Our list data and reports are updated annually, ensuring you always have the most relevant and up-to-date information at your fingertips.

Ethical Compliance Assurance: SCS's unique "Secret Shopper" program allows us to regularly verify approved nonprofits' policy compliance. This not only helps maintain the integrity of our database but also ensures that probationers are placed in ethical, law-abiding environments.
Join us in our mission to make court-ordered community service more effective, ethical, and mutually beneficial. Together, we can create stronger communities through service.
