Our Background

Simple Community Service (SCS) is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization located in Atlanta, Georgia. Our staff has over 20 years of experience working with non-profit organizations and probation offices that utilize community service volunteers. Founder and Executive Director Michael Rhyne has worked with more than 10,000 court appointed community service volunteers coming through hundreds of probation offices in all 50 states.  He saw an unaddressed need for creating resources for probationers to quickly find and complete court ordered community service.

He also saw that many probation offices are under funded and under staffed and could benefit from improvements in funding and the process. This unique perspective laid the foundation for the nonprofit, Simple Community Service.

 

Since our inception, SCS has been helping individuals required to complete court appointed community service, do so, in an efficient and meaningful way. We have spent thousands of hours collecting and verifying the information provided in our "Non-profit Community Service" reports.
